Why Rule of Sum?
My name is Casey Horn, and I’m the founder of Rule of Sum, a tutoring service dedicated to helping students grow in confidence and excel in Maths.
After six wonderful years teaching at an Ofsted Outstanding grammar school in Buckinghamshire, I stepped away from the classroom when my daughter was born.
Two years ago, I took a leap of faith and began tutoring full-time. By God’s grace, Rule of Sum has continued to grow—now with a team of tutors working alongside me to support even more learners.
I hold QTS, am fully DBS-checked, and bring over nine years of tutoring experience.
I specialise in Maths from Year 7 to Year 13, and I also hold a diploma allowing me to teach Further Maths Pure.
My mission is simple: to provide personalised support that builds strong foundations, nurtures confidence, and helps every student achieve their full potential.
